179: Chapter 10, page 6

The original script of midnightRUN was about twice as long as what made the final cut. I wish I kept a lot of what I wrote but because of time constraints back when it was being made, some things had to be scrapped which in turn, made later scenes make a bit less sense or not be as impactful as I had originally intended. In the original script there was a flashback (sometime around chapter 4) where I elaborated on the role Peacekeepers had on the community. This flashback also showed Oliver when he first became homeless and was taken in by several peacekeepers, including Joy. Her influence motivated him to keep living and to eventually become a gang leader (although she continuously encouraged him to find work or resume his education).

It was meant to be a chapter that would show more not just of Oliver, but also Joy, and other leaders such as Leigh and the Blood Moon's leader (if you remember, Joy was a previous Blood Moon member before she became a Peacekeeper).

Well, at least I can sort of tell you guys about these things here in the comments!
